The O'Neil Disciples on Alternative Buying Techniques and Position Management


Dr. Chris Kacher and Gil Morales conduct a one-hour video primer explaining Pocket Pivots and Buyable Gap-Ups, two key weapons from their arsenal of alternative buying techniques, as well as position management using the Seven-Week Rule as discussed in their book Trade Like an O'Neil Disciple: How We Made 18,000% in the Stock Market. This one-hour video workshop will:

  • Showcase the stand-alone training module as well as act as a primer and introduction to techniques that teach you to trade profitably
  • Teach the basics of Pocket Pivot buy points and Buyable Gap-Ups, as well as how to apply the Seven-Week Rule in determining stop-loss and trailing stop price points for leading stocks

GIL MORALES is the author and publisher of; coauthor and publisher of; a former senior proprietary internal Portfolio Manager and Chief Market Strategist for William O'Neil + Company; and currently a Managing Director of MoKa Investors, LLC. He also coauthored, with William J. O'Neil, the Wiley title How to Make Money Selling Stocks Short. Mr. Morales received his BA in economics from Stanford University.

DR. CHRIS KACHER is coauthor and publisher of; a former senior research analyst and senior proprietary internal Portfolio Manager for William O'Neil + Company and co-authored an in-house proprietary book The Model Book of Greatest Stock Market Winners (1997 edition); and a Managing Direction of MoKa Investors, LLC. He received his BS in chemistry and PhD in nuclear physics from the University of California, Berkeley.
